Fantasy Logistics System Test Feedback

Hello, good day everyone,
Fantasy Logistics is my 7th self sponsored game, which started since Jun. 2024. While a prototype video demo was presented to several senior designers.
Last month (Jan. 2025), a system test with a tutorial level was released to the same designers to validation.

Current feedback conclude:
# Fantasy Logistics is a puzzle game based on backpack management in fantasy world. Target audience is organizing enthusiasts. Player acts as a courier to help adventurers to collect reward items.
# The current version doesn't include with items and functions. With just one tutorial level and one sandbox level, players don't have enough content to engage with so far.
# The main activities of the player are moving right, picking up items, and then going back to sell them. Instead of synthesizing items, this game differentiates itself from backpack-genre games. The experience of arranging backpack is more akin to Diablo series (without fighting). The background story breaks the mold, similar with Japanese comic "Dungeon Sherpa" or Video game "Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon"
# Important Feedback: Moving right and left is a point of concern. In the current version, after items are collected, there is empty & boring path to walk to merchant location. If the player can sell items anywhere, the limitation on backpack arrangement doesn't make sense. Here are several suggestions:
## Adding a little fun while walking. Keep players' attention between pickup locations.
## Removing leftward movement. The player moves rightward continuously, and has no chance to pick up those ignored items. Meanwhile, the merchant location is required to re-design.
## Compromise solution. The Merchant as a start location moves rightward to limit the movable area of the player, and gradually removes ignored items.
# Important Feedback: Players have little information about picking-up & moving strategy.
## The level ending is confusing. The current version converts distance to remaining seconds, which requires players to interpret it. This might need to be redesigned.
## The value of items is not clear. A better representation is required.
## The pros and cons of arrangement are not clear. A better representation is needed to help players understand how to arrange items in their backpack.
## The information about reward items in the level is unclear. Players might need this information to choose their strategy for collecting items.
# Middle and long-term goals, as well as character growth are not implemented at this version. The following systems might be needed:
## Missions, to let players know the goal need to be achieved.
## Character growth, including backpack size, and attributes.
## Diversity of items, along with corresponding tutorials.
# Other feedback:
## More attribute for player's character might help to interact with level scene and adventurers, in order to increase the fun in adventurers battles, while adding more factors of players' strategy.
## Different merchants could add more strategic elements for players to collect items and progress in the game's story.
## More items with side quests or stories would enhance players' experience.
That's all, I hope in 6 months, we may have a public test for the community.
